Game #4
Going into Week 4 the Foul Balls were rolling on a victory that meant alot to them since they won with only 9 players on the field. The stage was set for the late night game 9:15pm. The Foul Balls showed up on time and ready to go, however, there was an issue with the umpire in the game before and was delayed. The Foul Balls didn't end up getting the field till about 10pm on Thursday night the 8th of September. Under the lights and feeling good with a record of 2-1 the Foul Balls were ready to take on the Braves in week 4. Still missing our usual shortstop "Streets" the team had to ask Clue to step up again and fill in the position. As he did in game 3 Clue rose to the occasion making one excellent play after another. The Foul Balls were hitting the ball well, rounding the bases and scoring runs. They ended up being on the upside of whooping and won the game in only 5 innings by the score of 21-8. Bringing the team record up to a respectable 3-1, putting them tied for 2nd place behind Mile High Garage with a record of 4-1. Next game coming up is this Thursday the 15th at 6:15 Pm against Sundyne II whose record going into the game is 2-3. Hope to see you out there... As Len has said and I think we should make the team slogan.....
WE PLAY HARD !!
WE PARTY HARDER !!!
We are THE FOUL BALLS!!!!!!!
Game #3
Foul Balls had alot to prove in their 3rd game after getting beaten pretty bad in week 2. Not only were they coming off of a rough week, they were as well going to be down 3 players for week #3. Jon "Streets" Garcia, Brian Mueller, and Josh Swanson were all going to be out of town for the Labor Day holiday weekend. They do have back ups, however, it being a holiday weekend they were unable to get bodies on the field. So the Foul Balls took to the field with only 9 players, leaving a huge hole at 2nd base. They looked great in the field with outstanding defense from Leonard "LeonSpinx"Anderson in the Hot Corner and Matt " Clue" McClure and short. Not only did Clue get it done in the field, but as well at the plate getting at least 2 triples while hustling around the bases. Being down a man and coming off a lose was just what the Foul Balls needed to motivate them in game 3 by winning 12-11 against The Fall Guys. Bringing the current record to 2-1. WINNING!!
Game #2
The Foul Balls took to the field on August 25th feeling pretty good after winning their first game of the season. Everyone was able to attend the game except for Socal. He was busy celebrating his 5 year wedding anniversary with his smoking hot wife in Las Vegas. The game didn't go as the team had played out in their heads in advance. The Foul Balls were on the tail end of an ass whooping. Taking their first L of the season losing the game to Buster H by the score of 28 - 8. Making their record to date now 1-1.
